I had the pleasure of meeting Ramy Ayach in person during the MBC event last week. A few months ago when I was watching the music video of my favorite song "Sawa" featuring him and Maya Diab, it never crossed my mind that I would ever be Ramy's fashion stylist, but here we are! He is a super humble person and extremely supportive towards the entire team.
As part of my routine, before dressing my clients I always ask them about their fashion style and what looks they prefer, as this way it's easier to agree on something and find a look that they are comfortable with. As I suspected Ramy loves the formal look, and on rare occasions he would spice things up with a pair of classy jeans, and of course no outfit would be complete without his pocket square.
For the Press Junket we both agreed on the same look: Grey double breasted blazer from Harvey Nichols, clean white shirt from Eden Park, a pair of classic blue jeans from Kenneth Cole to add contrast to the look, and funky print sneakers from Aldo.
I can never argue with his taste, he looked fabulous in a tuxedo by Fiordelli on the night of the Platinum Records album reveal.
For the Magazine cover I selected a dark grey suit with a light pink shirt from Eden Park. The pink shirt was to make the look playful rather then too formal, and to complement Carmen Suleiman's attire.
To sum this up, I would like to say that working with Ramy was pure pleasure and an unforgettable experience.
